The Green Youth Upskilling Program (GYUP) is an initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with practical, industry-relevant skills in key sectors of the green economy, including renewable energy and waste management. The program combines technical training with hands-on internship experience to prepare participants for employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
GYUP is open to young individuals who are passionate about building a career in the green economy. Specific eligibility criteria, such as age range, educational background, and location, may vary by cohort and will be clearly outlined during each application cycle.
The program includes a structured technical training phase followed by a real-world internship placement. Participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience through activities such as solar installations, recycling operations, and other industry-relevant tasks.
